Disjointed mixture of drug-induced schizophrenia and pronoia
The film is about an average guy Warren whose interest in conspiracy theories culminates in a surreal visitation by a woman who purports to reveal all the truths via mind exchange, leading him on a path to create a documentary on those truths in order to impress his fiancee's family at their upcoming wedding, all the while descending into a disjointed, confusing reality of confusion and alternating paranoia/pronoia.

First of all, calling this movie a comedy is a misnomer--it's neither funny nor funny ironically. It's sad and hurts me to watch the descent into chaos.

For some reason it reminded me of Brazil, but presented far less expertly or with any cohesive message other than don't take random drugs at a party.

Secondly, it's a misnomer in a sense that the protagonist to my knowledge never took peyote but did absorb some drool from a crazy hobo as well as smoked some unknown admixture with pot from a party ("is this stuff laced?" "yeah...
